2000 - Ready, Willing, and Able
by George Kovach
Artist George Kovach captures a small town on a rainy night before World War II. ''Ready, Willing and Able'' brings back memories for many who grew up in one of the rural communities of East Texas or Southwest Louisiana before World War II. Roads, outside communications and other conveniences were often lacking, but communities were filled with camaraderie and togetherness with many pleasant memories of friends, family and events.
