A logging train loaded with freshly cut timber pierces the silence of the piney woods as it thunders down the track. Captured in watercolor by Ronnie Wells, the steamer reflects the trains that made runs from deep Southern forests to thriving lumber mills.

Ronnie Wells has a degree in art and once worked as a medical illustrator for M.D. Anderson Medical Center. Now he works at his gallery and studio in Cleveland, Texas as a professional artist. His work can be found in galleries from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and New Orleans all the way throughout the United States.
