"New Orleans Color" - Brian Miller

The Brimstone Historical Society and Henning Cultural Center are proud to host an exhibit featuring Brian K. Miller, a renowned New Orleans photographer.  The exhibit will be on display from July 21st to August 28th, 2008.

The Henning Cultural Center is also proud to host a "meet the artist" reception on July 31st from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Mr. Miller will be here to sign any prints that are sold, and is willing to speak a little bit about his technique.

The Henning Cultural Center is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is closed for one hour at lunchtime, from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.  The public is invited, with no entry fee.  Prints of Mr. Miller's work are also on sale.

Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the Henning Cultural Center web site!

Our mission is preserving and enriching the culture of Southwest Louisiana.  We accomplish this by housing cultural traveling exhibits from around the country as well as locally in order to make them available to the residents of Sulphur and the surrounding region.  Visitors to our area are always welcome too!

Also we have the Brimstone Museum where we are working on a permanent exhibit on the history of the sulfur industry and how it has played a role in developing our city of Sulphur, Louisiana. When this is complete, it will be an excellent resource for discovering the history of your town!

We are open Monday - Friday: 10 AM - 12 & 1 - 5 PM and Saturday: 11 AM - 3 PM
